Rural Market Research Experience

Synovate has a wide range of rural research experience, having conducted a wide range of research in rural areas (and often specifically with farmers) for recent clients such as Ravensdown Fertiliser and PGG Wrightson, and past rurally-focussed projects for ASB Bank,  Environment Waikato (the Waikato Regional Council), the Western Bay of Plenty District Council and Wrightsons (for the RD1 brand)

This research has involved everything from convening groups of stock-specific farmers (e.g. dairy or drystock) for discussions about the RMA and local government planning, through to "kitchen table" face-to-face interviews with farmers about their commercial supplier relationships.

Our expertise in this area has been recognized by the conference company BrightStar who have included Synovate researchers Jonathan Dodd and Debra Hall as keynote speakers at four of their “Marketing to the Rural Sector” conferences.
