News: Research Solutions selected for National Research Conference
Senior researchers Horst Feldhaeuser and Jonathan Dodd have both had papers accepted for the national conference of the NZ Market Research Society, to be held in November.
You are feeling sleepy... For his paper, Jonathan has teamed up with leading hypnotherapist Aaron McLoughlin to investigate the use of hypnosis in market research. Inspired by a UK study which showed that advertising recall is better under hypnosis, Jonathan and Aaron will test the use of a special form of hypnosis that could have good commercial implications for market researchers and their clients.
Would You Recommend this Research Technique to a Friend? Horst's paper promises to hold great interest to those aware of the much-hyped 'Net Promoter Score' research technique.
This technique claims that all marketers need to know is how many customers would recommend a brand to a friend. It seems too simple and too good to be true - so Horst will be investigating it thoroughly, no doubt with his usual German precision!
Both Jonathan and Horst's papers will be available after the conference. | |
